This unit utilizes a fail-safe Dynalco digital temperature monitor to provide continuous scanning of all existing temperature and speed changes, indicating individual thermocouple values and T-Max. It provides relay outputs on T-Max for shutdown, warning, max. continuous temperature and engine hot signals. The unit comes with two set points for each alarm and shutdown to differentiate between start and running conditions. The unit scans existing signals and cold junction compensated before comparing to customer programmed alarm and shutdown set points. The unit installs on top of the existing cabinet and thermocouple extension cable is provided for the link to the junction box.

The fail-safe flame viewer utilizes a Honeywell u.v. flame scanner which produces a ripple on the steady DC power which is detected by the amplifier. A relay output indicates two lamps and sends logic signals for control functions.

The user will find that in day to day operation, nothing has changed, but the additional information is excellent for trouble-shooting problems and extending engine life.

With correctly sized wiring the unit can operate up to 300 m from the turbine and the flame sensor is designed to withstand temperatures up to 300 deg. F and vibration up to 2000 Hz.
