Couplings
9.1 Replacement or alternative couplings
9.2 Replacement flexible elements and fasteners.
10.0
Electrical
10.1 We will replace all existing wiring with easy to install, locally supplied equivalents.
10.2 Junction Boxes
We use all stainless steel Nema grade junction boxes
appropriate to the area classification.

10.3 Electric Motors.
We will provide replacement or repair service using locally supplied alternatives.

11.0
Piping
11.1 We will replace all existing pipe work and couplings
with stainless steel swagelock type fittings for gas
lube oil and air systems if required.
11.2 Where appropriate we will engineer flexible connections
to ease component replacement problems.
12.0
Lube oil and Fuel Systems
12.1 Filters. We can supply OEM or equivalent filters.
12.2 We can engineer these systems to off-skid if
this is required. On older sets this makes servicing
much simpler.
12.3 Servo systems: call us for locally sourced alternatives.
13.0
Fuel Systems
13.1 We will repair and renovate gas fuel burners.
13.2 We will repair actuators and actuator electronics.
13.3 We will repair or replace gas fuel valves, solenoids
and regulators.
13.4 Replacement or repair of liquid fuel valves and
burners.
13.5 Replacement or repair of liquid fuel pumps and
filters.
Control
Systems and Instrumentation
14.0 Instrumentation.
14.1 Gauges: We can provide stainless steel gauge panel
assembly providing start permissives and operational data
which can be locally or remotely located.
14.2 Current control system can be refurbished.
15.0
Controls
15.1 Flame viewing system can be replaced with PSI
24 VDC Honeywell UV system which provides an extremely
reliable detection system.
15.2 Temperature Monitoring can be managed with our
24 VDC microprocessor based monitor which allows
monitoring of all individual temperatures, Tmax, and
interduct temperature spreads at one point. The turbine
is protected against unstable spread conditions which
lead to premature failure of hot elbows and volutes.

15.3 The existing annunciator can be replaced with
a PSI microprocessor based unit.
15.4 Existing relay logic can be repaired or refurbished.

15.5 Existing vibration relays can be replaced with
24 VDC versions eliminating the static inverter.
16.0
Replacement Control Systems
16.1 Simple stop / start with basic gauging.
16.2 Middle level system with complete gauging but
low level annunciation.
16.3 Complex system with full annunciation, gauging,
transducers and data acquisition accessibility.
16.4 Partial PLC replacing mechanical relays but utilizing
current servo operated equipment.

16.5 Full PLC replacing relays, governor and limiters
using electronic fuel valve but maintaining full flexibility
of engine capabilities.
17.0
Data Acquisition System
17.1 We offer complete service for local or remote
monitoring of your equipment, allowing full historical
simulation of all operating parameters.
